RP Exotics is pleased to offer this 1965 Backdraft Cobra Roadster Replica. This Backdraft Racing Cobra replica was built by TR-Tec in Durban, South Africa. It is finished in yellow with gray center stripes over a black interior and is powered by a Roush-built 402ci V8 mated to a five-speed manual transmission sending 509 hp to the rear wheels. Additional equipment includes Gabriel Technomatic shocks, a Holley carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, chrome roll hoops, side exhaust pipes, quick-jack bumperettes, 17” Halibrand-style wheels, a hood scoop, tinted sun visors, and Crow Racing harnesses.

Exterior details also include quick-jack bumperettes, a hood scoop, chrome roll hoops, side exhaust pipes, wind wings, fender vents, and a Monza-style fuel cap. Halibrand-style 17″ knock-off wheels wear BDR-branded spinners and are mounted with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires that measure 235/45 up front and 315/35 out back and show 2006 date codes. The car rides on Gabriel Technomatic shocks and stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. The exterior paint is in phenomenal shape and there is no rust present on the car.

Jumping inside, you will find low-back bucket seats that are trimmed in black along with matching door panels and carpeting. Other interior details include Crow Racing harnesses, tinted sun visors, Backdraft Racing floor mats, and a dash-mounted rearview mirror. A three-spoke leather steering wheel sits in front of the gauge cluster consisting of an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 220-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges.
