This GT500 is powered by a 5.2L Supercharged V8 producing a whopping 760hp and 625lb-ft of torque. The engines power is being sent to the rear wheels through an amazing 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The new GT500 was built to have a very efficient Supercharger system. It has an intercooler and separate cooling circuit to keep the boost from building heat, as well as a new design for the oil pan to keep the oil cooler and to prevent oil starvation when making turns around the track. As for the transmission, the new Tremec seven-speed-transmission shifts lightning quick; as fast as 0.1 seconds!
