G-Force IndyCar Rolling Chassis

RP Exotics is pleased to offer this G-Force GF01 IndyCar rolling chassis numbered GF-036. G-Force was one of two chassis manufacturers in the early years of the Indy Racing League, squaring up head-to-head against Dallara. Nearly all G-Force cars were originally powered by an Oldsmobile Aurora 4.0L twin-turbo V8, and this chassis currently comes with a quick-release round alcantara steering wheel, removable nose cone, and center-lock wheels wrapped in period-correct Firestone Firehawk racing tires. 

This rolling chassis comes to us from the garage of a local collector. As the story goes, this car was driven by Sam Schmidt, one of the founders of the team that today is McLaren Arrows SP, in the early days of the 1999 season.

The car currently sports a green and black livery and wears the number 7 on the nose and engine cover. The exterior is finished in a colored IndyCar logo behind the front wheels, the Mobil 1 logo on the lower portion of the engine cover, and the Firestone logo atop the aero feature on the rear of the engine cover. It sits on 15” rims that measure 305 up front and 415 in the rear.

On the inside, the car features exposed carbon fiber throughout the monocoque crash structure. The round quick-release steering wheel is wrapped in alcantara, the shift knob is finished in wood, and an LCD screen sits behind the wheel.
