Selling an exceptional vehicle is a lot more difficult than most owners expect.
On day one, it seems simple enough. You take a few photos, write a description, and post it on Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, Bring a Trailer, Cars & Bids, or one of the major automotive marketplaces. Then the messages start rolling in.
By day ten, you've answered dozens of questions from people who never intended to buy. You've been contacted by 30 different dealers offering wholesale money, fielded 45 lowball offers, and spent hours responding to messages that go nowhere. Five “serious buyers” have promised to call back and vanished. You've taken additional photos, shot videos, gathered records, and still aren't any closer to a completed sale.

You complete the Remote Consignor Vehicle Questionnaire and we discuss your vehicle, your goals, and program fit.
Our acquisitions team reviews provenance and market positioning, then aligns with you on strategy and target price.
We coordinate the Pre-Listing Inspection, professional media, and collection of service records, title, and identifying documentation.
You sign the Consignment Agreement, with the questionnaire incorporated by reference. The onboarding fee is collected and the listing is prepared.
Your vehicle is placed in the RP Marketplace portfolio, marked as a remote consignment located off-site.
We market across the channels that produce qualified buyers and field every inquiry, question, and negotiation on your behalf.
Once a proposal is accepted, funds clear into RP escrow and title transfer, lien payoff if applicable, and logistics are coordinated through us.
The vehicle is collected from your location and placed with its new owner. You receive the net proceeds and a complete record of the transaction.
One upfront onboarding fee
An upfront Onboarding Fee that completely covers the Pre-Listing Inspection (PLI), Professional Media/Photography, and the 1st month's marketplace listing fee.
Final amounts are confirmed in your Consignment Agreement before you sign.
Remote consignment relies on three commitments. They protect the program, your price, and the buyer.
While your vehicle is placed with RP Marketplace, it is not actively listed elsewhere. Multi-listing fragments the market and confuses buyers about authoritative price and condition.
The Remote Consignor Vehicle Questionnaire is incorporated into the Consignment Agreement. Material misrepresentations discovered before or after sale carry real consequences. Where you do not know an answer, write Unknown rather than guessing.
To safeguard privacy, keep transaction chains verifiable, and ensure solid compliance, all communications, inquiries, and initial negotiations must happen strictly within our system.
